Extensive Roof Garden project:
Designed by AECOM, Location is coastal area in Mona Vale, NSW.
Profile depth 100mm using Fytogreen extensive growing profile with 14mm screed, recycled concrete as a stone mulch and 450mm wide ballast ring.
This residential double garage roof garden which is 43 m2 in total area has no irrigation and has never been irrigated. The Carpobrotus species were taken as cuttings from the local sand dunes and planted in September 2009.
