Fytogreen’s Extensive and Semi-Extensive roof garden profile was developed during 2007. Based on overseas experience and trials conducted in Australia we developed these profiles for sustainability in Australian conditions.
Our first commercial installation was completed in Beare Park, Sydney on a public toilet 35m2 of a 100mm deep extensive profile that was mounded up to accommodate larger plants.
Photos show the installation in November 2008 with a selection of sedums and Yukka’s requiring a 250mm deep profile.
All Fytogreen Extensive roof gardens come installed with plants and sub soil drip irrigation.
