A new 9,000sqm museum building represented the next step in the development of the waterfront Morilla Estate – a site of great cultural significance.
The museum is set into the sandstone hill creating a visual and physical extension of the landscape, and a strong relationship between the building and the environment.
Fytogreen was engaged to create roof gardens on this $75 million landmark building. Working closely with Occulus, Fytogreen supplied and installed approximately 1,400m2 of Semi Extensive Roof Garden, spread over 5 individual roofs along with planter boxes around the site.
