Extensive and semi-extensive roof gardens have a thin growing medium <200mm deep, planted with prostrate low-growing vegetation.
Although Fytogreen installs sub-surface irrigation, typically our extensive roof gardens require minimal maintenance. Extensive roofs are light enough to be retrofitted to existing buildings where minimal upgrade to structural capabilities is required.
